Comments
If you submit a comment, the site stores your chosen name, comment, submission time, moderation status, and any reply relationship in Cloudflare D1. Approved names and comments become public. No reader account or email address is required. Do not include information you do not want published.
Comments are reviewed before publication. To request removal of a comment, contact [email protected] with the article and comment details.
Security and spam prevention
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and security cookies. Comment submission uses Cloudflare Turnstile. The comment system uses a daily keyed hash derived from your IP address for rate limiting, rather than storing the raw IP address in the comments database. This does not describe Cloudflare’s separate security logs.
See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing practices.
Images, video, and external links
Some pages load images from external providers and embed YouTube or Vimeo video. Loading these resources sends requests to those providers, which may process your IP address and browser information under their own policies. YouTube embeds use its privacy-enhanced domain. Links below videos offer another way to open them if embedded playback is unavailable.
